EarlyBridge privacy policy

Through this privacy policy EarlyBridge B.V. informs you about how your personal data is handled within our organization. EarlyBridge B.V. is the data controller of your personal data. The responsible party is hereinafter collectively referred to as “EarlyBridge.”

EarlyBridge respects your privacy and we abide by the rules set by the Personal Data Protection Act.

Definitions

Personal data

Personal data is information about a living person that can be identified from that data (or from that and other information, already in our possession or likely to come into our possession).

Usage data

Usage data is automatically collected by the use of the service or by the infrastructure of the service itself (for example, the duration of a page visit).

Data Manager

In some cases, we are the data processor for our clients. This relates to in-company and open schedule trainings and workshops for which you have registered.

Collection and use of information

We collect different types of information for different purposes to provide and improve our service to you.

Types of data collected

What data are processed?
EarlyBridge processes the personal data we receive from you or your employer. This includes, for example, data we receive when you register for a training course, request our brochure, sign up for our newsletter or if you contact us in any other way.

Among other things, we collect and process the following personal data: your name, address and other contact details, data relating to the training you have applied for, including payment details, your feedback on the training and other information you provide to us. In addition, EarlyBridge collects and processes personal data in connection with your training, such as your attendance, any results and whether you have completed the training (successfully).

Personal data

In the course of using our service, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that may be used to contact or identify you (“personal information”). Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:
– E-mail address
– First name and last name
– Phone number
– Address, province, zip code, city
– Cookies and usage data

We may use your personal data to contact you with newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. You may opt out of receiving any, or all, of these communications from us by following the unsubscribe link or instructions included with each email, or by contacting us.

We also use personal data to contact you and inform you of relevant information such as location, training assignments, evaluations related to trainings, workshops or other events for which you have registered and plan to attend, or have already attended.

In some situations, we use personal data to contact you about research activities related to our customers. In this case, all data received from the client will be maintained and used only for the purposes of the order.

Usage data

We may also collect information about how Earlybridge is accessed and used (“usage data”). This usage data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol address (IP address), browser type, browser version, the Earlybridge pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, time spent on those pages, unique device identifiers and other diagnostic data.

Tracking & cookie data

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our service and hold certain information. Cookies are files containing a small amount of data that can consist of an anonymous unique id.

Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. Tracking technologies also used are beacons, tags and scripts to collect and track information and to improve and analyze our website and services. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use certain parts of our service.

– Session cookies. We use session cookies to operate our website.

Use of data

For what purposes are your data processed?

EarlyBridge uses your personal information for the following purposes:
– The registration and administrative processing of your participation in your chosen course; – The provision of your chosen course;
– To perform analysis so that we can improve our services;
– To have you conduct an evaluation or survey about the training;
– Sending our newsletter or brochure;
– To conduct research on behalf of our clients;
– providing the information you requested and responding to your inquiries; and
– to comply with laws and regulations applicable to EarlyBridge.

The personal data we use for analysis is anonymized by us and thus cannot be traced back to you. Your personal data is available to other training institutions that cooperate with EarlyBridge to coordinate the planning and execution of various training programs.

If agreed upon with your employer, EarlyBridge may provide information about your attendance at training to your employer. We may additionally make your personal data available to our partners who play a role in the overall training process.

EarlyBridge will not provide your information to other third parties unless you have given EarlyBridge your prior consent or if EarlyBridge is required by law to do so.

We also use your information to provide and improve our services, such as our websites. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. Unless otherwise set forth in this privacy policy, terms used in this privacy policy have the same meanings as in our terms and conditions. Retention of data

EarlyBridge will retain your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this privacy policy. We will retain and use your personal information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we need to retain your information to comply with applicable law), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.
EarlyBridge will also retain usage data for internal analysis purposes. Usage data is generally retained for a shorter period of time, except when it is used to enhance the security or functionality of our service, or when we are required by law to retain it for a longer period of time.

Transfer of data

Your data, including personal data, may be transferred to – and maintained on – computers in a location outside your province, country or other government jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. This to the extent it is necessary and permitted by EU law.

If you are located outside the Netherlands and choose to provide information to us, please note that we transfer the data, including Personal Data, to the Netherlands and process it there. Your consent to this privacy policy followed by your submission of such information represent your agreement to that transfer.

EarlyBridge will take all measures reasonably necessary to ensure that your information is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy and that no transfer of your personal information will occur to any organization or country unless there are adequate controls in place including the security of your information and other personal information.

Legal requirements

EarlyBridge may disclose your personal information in good faith if such action is necessary to:

– protect and defend the rights or property of EarlyBridge.
– prevent or investigate possible misconduct in connection with the service.

Data security

We consider the security of your data important, but please remember that there is no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage that is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal information in a commercially acceptable manner, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

EarlyBridge is committed to taking reasonable steps to allow you to modify, delete or limit the use of your personal information. If you wish to change your personal information, please contact us to make the desired changes. We are happy to help you.

If you would like to be informed about what personal data we hold about you and would like it removed from our systems, please contact us. In certain circumstances, you have the right to:
– access a copy of the personal information we hold about you in our system.
– correct personal information that is inaccurate.
– request the deletion of your personal data.
– request all of your personal data that you have provided to EarlyBridge and receive it in a
file so they can be taken to another service provider.

Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before we respond to such requests.

Service providers

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our service (“service providers”), to provide the service on our behalf, to perform other services related to our service or to help us analyze how our service is used.

These third parties only have access to your personal data to perform these tasks on our behalf and are required not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

Analytics

We may use third-party service providers to monitor and analyze the use of our service and websites.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a web analytics service offered by Google that tracks and reports web site traffic. Google uses the data collected to track and monitor the use of our service. This data is shared with other Google services. Google may use the data collected to contextualize and personalize ads from its own advertising network.

You can opt out of having your activity on our service made available to Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The add-on prevents Google Analytics JavaScript (ga.js, analytics.js and dc.js) from sharing information with Google Analytics about visit activity.

Planning and logistics; managing data

We use Excel as a scheduling tool and store all scheduling information including participant information in Dropbox. We keep the schedule and relevant information for trainings or other services in order to organize the trainings and carry out our service effectively.
All data is maintained in relevant Dropbox folders and is kept only as long as necessary to provide the service. Personal data will not be used for any other purpose.

Processing of financial and payment data

We use Exact to process payment information at the individual participant level and at the client level for timely billing around training activities and other services.

Surveys, surveys and evaluations

We use Surveymonkey to collect feedback on our trainings or other learning interventions or services. This includes surveys, evaluations and questionnaires.

Third Party

EarlyBridge works with a number of partners in conducting training and learning programs. Those parties use personal data as part of their role within the training and according to agreement with you or your employer. That data is used to deliver training content to you such as online or mobile assignments and to analyze and improve the effect and impact of a training or learning program.

Links to other sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites not operated by us. If you click on a third party link, you will be redirected to that third party’s site. We strongly encourage you to read the privacy policy of each site you visit.

We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Privacy of children

Our service does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your children have provided us with personal data, please contact us. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from children without verification of parental consent, we take immediate steps to delete that information from our servers.

Changes to this privacy policy

We may update our privacy policy from time to time. We will notify changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page. We will let you know via email and/or a prominent notice on our website before the change takes effect and update the “effective date” at the top of this privacy policy. You are advised to review this privacy policy periodically for changes. Changes to this privacy policy take effect when posted on this page.
